Did you know that if your not shopping for cheapest auto insurance your are with out a doubt paying far to much for vehicle insurance. The majority of people stay with the same vehicle insurance agent, year after year, because, "that's who my family has used", or “he’s a nice guy”, or "there a national company", (who have paid out a ton of money with the horrible weather recently and also raised your rates}.

Did you know that vehicle insurance policies are monitored by the Division of Insurance, a government agency? So big, small, expensive, cheap, they individually have to answer to them to be in business?

Last year, I decided to shop my vehicle insurance when my rates went up 50% and coincidentally so did my roommate's. I was floored! I had the same vehicle insurance premium, vehicle insurance agent and national company for years, and had not had a reason to shop around; I just paid it, because vehicle insurance is a must in my state to get your auto's license renewed.

When I realized how much my vehicle insurance had gone up, I called and was told what I just told you, "we raised every ones rates because of the Hurricanes and floods". Well, I didn't let that happen, because I decided to look around and actually saved a lot of money with a well known company. I then returned to where I had received my discount auto insurance and got an equally great deal my roommate!

Between us, we saved a total of $2,000 in the past year because we looked for the cheap auto insurance. We went on the lowest rate 3-day cruise to the Bahamas we could find and moved to a larger apartment!

Now, you might want to use that extra money for something else, but we had the time of our life and got a more spacious place to live, just because we found the cheap auto insurance we could find. Sure, we could’ve just paid the bill and said, "thats life" like many people do, but this was found money.

We would have spent that saved money on our vehicle insurance premium, paid the high rate they quoted and keep struggling to pay the rent payment, but instead we chose to go after the cheap auto insurance we could find.

Now, I know you are thinking, well, if they are monitored, how come the other company didn’t give a discount auto insurance. Well, they are monitored, but vehicle insurance companies are a business like everything else, and if they have gigantic losses or claims, they can pass that on to the consumer.

You just have to shop for the cheap auto insurance you can find. Now, I know you don’t want to hurt that nice guy, who was your Dad’s vehicle insurance agent, which is great as long as he will send you and your friend on a cruise and move you into a nicer home.

If you want to save your money, go on a great vacation or have a nicer place to live, or pay your bills and eat well, then save where you can, and it’s easy if you get the cheapest auto insurance.
